Paris – Lunch break at the newsroom
Julie: I need to find a new story. I have to feature a charity gala. Do you have any ideas?
Léa: I think I do!
Julie: Tell me.
Léa: Every year, since 1946, the Monaco Red Cross has organised charity events to raise funds for its humanitarian work.
Julie: Great.
Léa: No, it's more than great! It's a prestigious gala evening at the Sporting Monte-Carlo. A night filled with glamour and generosity... I could go and cover it if you like.
Julie: When is it?
Léa: On 18th July. Right in the middle of your holiday... What a shame.
Editor-in-Chief: Enjoy your lunch, girls. So, Julie, have you found a charity event to cover?
Léa: I have! The 77th Monaco Red Cross Gala at the Sporting Monte-Carlo.
Editor-in-Chief: Well done! That's an excellent idea.
Léa: I knew you'd like it.
Editor-in-Chief: Yes, it's perfect. As it happens, I'm available at that time. I'll cover the event myself. You can book my hotel room, as usual, can't you?
Léa: It's becoming a habit! That's really not fair!
